I joined the
Visual Computing Center
at
KAUST
, Saudi Arabia as a Research Scientist.
I joined the Computer Engineering Department, Cairo University as
an Assistant Professor.
I joined Google Inc. as a Software Engineer.
I received a PhD degree in Electrical Engineering from the
California Institute of Technology
(Caltech) in 2011. My thesis work was with Prof.
Pietro Perona
in the
Computational Vision Lab
, and was about efficient methods for searching large scale image collections.
I received an MS degree in Electrical Engineering from the
California Institute of Technology
in 2007 as well as an MS degree in Computer Engineering from
Cairo University
in 2005. I received a BS in Computer Engineering from
Cairo University
in 2003.
